It is currently 2:35 in the morning. I should be asleep, considering i'm sick, and stressed and need all the sleep I can get. But I'd rather be doing what I'm currently doing. Which is nothing. Actually, I'm updaing myself on what I'm doing. I feel important blogging. I enjoy writing to mystery people who don't actually exsist. Well, in my mind, my blog is read by people in Thiland, and Uganda, and Russia. People who's lives are interesting, yet are made better by reading the inner thoughts of an 18 year old Canadian.
Speaking of being Canadian, I'm not going to be in Canada for very much longer. As of August 3rd (the date got pushed back by two days), I will be living in the United States Of America, as a student. I'm pretty excited about that. Mostly about leaving Canada. While I compleltey agree and feel Canadian, I just never felt like Canada was where I was meant to be. I feel that there is some place out there, that I was destinted to be. And its just my job to go and locate it. I know I'll find it someday. I've felt this way since I was little, just that where I'm supposed to be to make a difference isn't here. I also believe this may be part of the reason why God gave me the gift of soccer. So that I had something to help me find the place I'm supposed to be.
Soccer. Let's talk about soccer. Well, actually, I'll talk about soccer, and those mystery, non-exsisting people that read this will...I was gonna say listen, but since i'm not actually speaking, I guess read is the correct term here. Soccer is my everything. I honestly don't know if anything will ever compare to the feeling I get even just talking about it. I love everything and anything to do with soccer. I thank my mom everyday for enrolling me in it when I was 7. She changed my life. I'm really hoping that which ever team I go to is the right fit for me, and that my university team and coach are the right fit. I still get the feeling Coach Wade is the right fit for me, but SBU feels right as a school. I think thats where I've been so conflicted recently. Do I follow my heart to soccer, or to I follow it to my education? There's so much I know, that I'm not supposed to be saying right now about Coach Wade...I'm gonna stop now lol, so I don't end up in shit by anyone.
Seriously, I'm getting so excited to be a university student. I'm done with highschool. I've loved it, and I know I will look back at my years at Forest Lawn with a smile, but I'm ready for the next big adventure. I'm ready to study what I want (not math or science), I'm ready to be with people who want to be there, to learn, to engage in a style of learning that's completely different. And I'm very excited to go to a Christian school. I'm not gonna talk about my faith in this entry (maybe later if it strikes me as interesting one day), but I've really grown into my faith in the past two years. And I think I'm at the point where I'm ready to learn, to love and to fully intergrate my faith into my life. Which is something I can't do in Calgary. Or at least at Forest.
Lets talk about my new computer. Cause it's pretty special. Even if my dad did have to lie to a judge. gah, I'm not going into details, but lets just say he stole my inheritance money from my Nana, so that he wouldn't have to use his own money. It's quite a long and complicated story. If you're interested, go ahead and ask. But anywho, so I am now the proud owner of a Macbook. I love it so much. I realized today, that since I got it almost two weeks ago, and set up my wireless internet, and everything, I have been on it as often as I can. When I'm not eating, at school, sleeping, driving or hanging outside of my house, I'm on my computer. I turn it on as soon as I get home, and I log onto all my different stuff, and then do nothing for hours and hours on end. I think once the novelty of being able to be on the internet all the time, and not have anyone question me, and having my own computer wears off, I'll probably let it out of my sight. Oh, and I saw this really cool decal that I want for it. Its Snow White, holding her hand out, and on the top of her hand, is the Apple Logo from the front of the computer (i'm gonna go look for it. here's the link
collegehumor.85de8ee9485f99f9f615f3ddd42980dc.jpg I want that)
And I think I'm done this blog. Its much longer then I thought it would be, but it felt nice to just write. I haven't done that in a while.
Buhbye
